Default Carrick DH NPS

Well folks this weekend we have the last round of the DH NPS being held by flow down in Carrick in Wicklow, it's a good fast track with nothing too stupid on it, so everyone come on down and race. I should be there from Friday evening setting up the pit area so if your around drop on by. See you all there.

Here's the preview and on-line sign on.

Should be a cracker.

And I'm definitely bringing the right shoes this time. Hiking boots and SPDs are a poor combination. Even on the climbs.

The hiking boots were classic but hey I might do it on the XC bike it was some craic coming down there last night, way more fun than being in control on the DH bike.

Good luck lads, not even going to get out to spectate as i´m sweating my head off in Spain but I recomend spectating, especially the last section or the huck to flat up top if you fancy the hike.

good lad Alfie, there's no reason for you not to be doing the champs either now that it's free entry for xcers! sure any of you doing the race in Kippure can stop by on your way home and bring the cowbells from last weekend...

Good man Alfie that's the sh1t, no reason more of the XC lads couldn't do this it's fully ridable nothing in it that you wouldn't do on a good Sunday spin.

Well that was a great weekend, Our slightly slanty pits had good craic in them all weekend, the track was deadly specially the bottom section, it was like something from a world cup with the amount of people screaming as you where coming down. Good results again from Silvia, Miriam, young Sean green, Karl Thomas, Chris Murphy, so well done to them. Also want wish our new recruit Ciaran O'Donoghue a speedy recovery he had a very bad crash on his first run and was brought off to hospital, so hope to see you back out soon. Well that's the end of the NPS for this year now onto the champs, it's going to be a cracker.

If carlsberg done weekends!!! fun fun fun!!! The 1st race run cured my hangover and i felt like a million dollars heading back up for the second run!! Massive well done to silvia!! she absolutly rocked it the weekend and was class to see her hitting the big jump at the end given the horror stories feeding up the start during the delay... thanks again to all the epic folks for there encouragement and sorry to gav for making him move his tent!! ps... do i mention the "sexy dances" by a certain member of the epic boys at 1 am?
