I gave my crank arm a fierce clatter of a trail (w)anchor up Clipetown during the week and it seems like I fooked the bottom bracket a bit as the crank assembly is now loose.
It was one of those bling ceramic BBs as well so I want to hang onto it - would replacing the bearings fix it...or what...?
thanks geezers

whats the deal with my new bottom bracket..what the advantage of these ones pressed into the frme..it had better be indestructible..if it involves stiffness and q factor only, then i won't be impressed

what chainset is it?

it could be the bearings but there the ceramic bling bit so they will be expensive. Its unusuall to do in the bearings form impact damage.

its lighter stiffer and has a better q factor and has nothing to do with lasting longer. Anyway bikes aren't ment to be sued as much as you use your bikes. So no matter what it is you will wear it out in no time atall

I might send it back to them so, claiming it failed during "use under light XC cycling conditions", I'll say nothing of Boneshakers or Gallaghers Cattys.....
