Hey,

has anyone else had any problems with Formula Oro levers sticking/returning very slowly? I've removed the lever and cleaned around the pivot/washer area but it hasn't helped. Could the piston/push rod be bent? Any advice appreciated.

Cheers,

Marc

Its a common occurance, happened to 2 pairs of mine. You can send them back to Formula for a mend but i think it can be done by yourself. Niall on www.mbcc.ie is able to sort them out. Think he just files a bit down and hey presto. Send him a PM or post.

It happened to one of mine too.

I got some spare parts (new metal rod and .. emm .. plastic thingy it sticks into) from ukbikestore.co.uk and a bleed kit and just stripped them down myself. Only took an hour or two (and even that was mostly as i've never even bled a brake before).

you can replace the push rods if there bent which is one of the causes but sometimes the piston in the lever needs to be replaced. We have all the bits instock in the shop if you need them.

yep this was the main bit that was causing the problem in mine
