Well..
that was an amazing trip, fantastic trails and so much craic it should be illegal.
Myself, the Hooremaster, Roo, BON and Alfie went to Scotland for 4 days.
Me rode our bikes, abused our sensibilities and left Innerleithen Knowing that we had been there.
The trails we went on were the best I've seen. Better than France for both XC and 6"..
The Town was as friendly as you could get and the descents ..unbelievable..the climbs we did were savage but switched all the way up..
There was a freeride Park in Glentress that you would spend all day on..
Some craic and easily the best " Lads" weekend I've ever been on.
Kirroughtree was alright, very like ballyhoura or Ballinastoe..you could tear around it on any old bike..
But Innerleithen was a huge pleasure.
I'd go back with my DH bike just for the weekend..
Go there, you won't be disapointed..you won't even notice the rain..I used to hate Scotland..that was my first visit there in years..
No Midges..none...not a bleedin Midge..
We stayed here

Oh my God ..brilliant set up and a brilliant couple..even when Andy had to calm us down before the Police were called..!!
Richie
and yes..I did fall off a skinny covered in Chickenwire and scrape half the flesh off my arm and leg..right in front of about 10 kids..
I had to go away and cry with pain in the bushes so they wouldn't see me..
at least they didn't laugh at me..not like my mates..
