Its December and the New Year will start the Year for Memberships.
Ross will put up details about Membership Packages
But heres the important info. Membership of Cycling Ireland will be compulsory along with your normal €20 Club membership.
Those of us who race will already have that when we renew our licences. But to go on EPIC spins you will need to have the cover CI membership provides.
So , you will have till the 2nd week in February to renew your membership and join Cycling Ireland..we will help you do that if you are getting a licence for the first time or just getting CI Membership.
You won't be able to partake in EPIC spins unless you have membership of CI. Membership of CI protects the Club and its members in the event of accidents on spins.
Members of other clubs will be welcome on spins as invited guests provided they have CI memberships.
There won't be any dual memberships. You are either in EPIC or you are not.
At present Membership is in high demand so be ready in the New Year. f you are interested in joining let me know.
We will be having a one spin a month Social Spin and we expect to see all class of rider there.
At present Sean Herlihy is the Sunday Spin leader , but we would like to see other experienced riders take a Sunday Spin..its a big responsibility but provided you meet the Committees requirements we would be happy to encourage others.
In fact if 2 or 3 of you got together and led a spin, that would be ideal.
People can feel free to organise spins on the forum with each other and presently the only official EPIC spin is the Sunday Spin. The spins Al and I run during the week are just like that.
